Hive3D ("we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

## What we collect

When you shop with us, we collect your name, email address, delivery and billing addresses, phone number (optional), and order history. Payment card details are processed by our payment providers (Shopify Payments, PayPal, and similar) — **we never see or store your full card number**. If you join our mailing list, we collect your email address. If you contact us, we keep the correspondence. Our website also collects standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) through cookies and similar technologies.

The Gift List feature stores your selected products in your own browser (localStorage) — this data stays on your device and is only shared if you choose to send your list to someone.

## How we use it

We use your information to process and deliver your orders, respond to enquiries, provide tracking updates, improve our website and products, and — only if you've opted in — send marketing emails about new drops and offers. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing is immediate.

## Who we share it with

We share information only as needed to run the shop: with Shopify (our ecommerce platform, which hosts our store data), payment processors, delivery carriers (Australia Post, Sendle, DHL — they receive your name and address to deliver your parcel), and email service providers. We require these providers to handle your data securely. Some providers (including Shopify) store data on servers outside Australia, including in the United States and Canada; by using our site you consent to this transfer. We never sell your personal information.

## Security & retention

We use industry-standard encryption (TLS) across our entire site and rely on Shopify's PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure. We keep order records for 7 years to meet Australian tax obligations, and delete or de-identify other data when no longer needed.

## Cookies

We use cookies that are essential for the cart and checkout to work, plus analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can block cookies in your browser settings, though the cart may not function without essential ones.

## Access, correction, and complaints

You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you at any time by contacting us at sales@hive3d.com.au . We'll respond within 30 days. If you believe we've breached the APPs, contact us first and we'll do our best to resolve it. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or 1300 363 992.
